At Smile First Family Dental Studio, we place a HUGE emphasis on getting to know the patient first. We want you to feel like you’re part of our family. We will first begin with a questionnaire and a thorough discussion with the doctor about your needs and goals for dental treatment.
When we examine you as a patient, we always keep in mind that your present problems, variation of anatomy, and medical and dental history are all unique to you. Your examination will include an evaluation of past, present, and potential problems. We will examine all oral tissue for decay, gum and bone problems and perform an oral cancer screening.
We will take digital x-rays to identify hidden problems (if necessary). If a malocclusion (something wrong with your bite) is present or developing, we may also take diagnostic impressions (molds of your teeth in order to study and diagnose). This information will guide us in planning your treatment. We understand that not all your needs can be covered in the realm of general dentistry, that’s why we work with a highly skilled group of specialists including but not limited to Periodontist Dr. Robert Busan, Pediatric Dentist Dr. Kirk Kollmann, Pediatric Dentist Dr. Cissy Furusho, Orthodontist Dr. Ron Jacobson, and Orthodontist Dr. Raymond Tsou. We also have the best Oral surgeon and Root Canal specialists and dentist in the 60659 region under our roof!
